Bizarrely this is designated as an HAR by Staffordshire FRS: it stands for Heathland Animal Rescue. I think they must’ve left the word ‘pump’ out of the description. HPAR? Because it’s primary role is as an off-road Pump that is regularly utilised fighting fires on the vast chaselands surrounding Cannock.

This is not only my first Unimog catch, but also one of the two catches in a single night while on my walks. the second is Tettenhall's RPL, (Rescue Pump Ladder). Two in one night.
