Hanzo – The Legendary Shinobi of the Rain Village

Hanzo was a legendary shinobi who ruled and maintained peace in the Rain Village during the Second Great Ninja War. He decimated an entire Konoha force sent against him, sparing only three individuals: Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade, bestowing upon them the title of "Legendary Sannin."

However, his story is not without tragedy. Hanzo played a significant role in shaping Nagato’s life, pushing him to his limits during a battle that left Nagato crippled. Remarkably, Hanzo is one of the few individuals to have lived through two Great Ninja Wars. His summoning technique was among the most unique, allowing him to call forth a massive black salamander to aid him in battle.

By the time he faced defeat at the hands of Pain, Hanzo was no longer the formidable shinobi he once was. Pain remarked that Hanzo’s downfall stemmed from his loss of self-belief and his complete cessation of training. While his screen time in the series is limited, leaving his full potential uncertain, it is undeniable that Hanzo's legacy as a powerful and influential shinobi remains etched in the history of the ninja world. One can only imagine what it would have been like to witness Hanzo unleash his true strength.
