5 things you are doing that is ruining your wardrobe ☝🏻

Are you guilty of any of them? 🤔

1. Not clearing out on a regular basis.

You won’t be able to have a good overview of your wardrobe if it’s filled with items you don’t want to wear anymore. The key to a healthy wardrobe is to know when to let go and what to keep.💪🏻

2. Not playing with your wardrobe.

It’s when we try our things on that we come up with new ways of wearing and matching the things we own. The more use we get out of each item we own, the less new pieces we have to get. 🙌🏻

3. Not having a plan when we go shopping.

If we don’t know what to get, then we will come home with things that don’t fit our style, we don’t need, we already have or that won’t go with anything else in our wardrobe. Having a plan stops us from impulse purchasing and getting tempted by fad trends. ☝🏻

4. Thinking that big wardrobes are better.

It’s much better for our personal style to have a few items that we really love instead of drowning our favourites in mountains of “meh”. It’s about curating, not collecting. 👌🏻

5. Not having a long term plan.

If we don’t know what kind of wardrobe we want, we will never get it. Make wishlist, a moodboard and really think about your personal style and what pieces to invest in. 👏🏻
