Dalgoma: Umbrella is unlucky enough, the fact that he even noticed that it was sugar and he could lick through it, even with all of that pressure, canât be luck
Tug of war: Although he had very smart people, it was through his skill that he knew what friends to choose and what friends to make
Marbles: This one was sort of lucky
Glass bridge: I canât blame his luck, as the game LITERALLY is based off of luck
Squid Game: He was gonna win anyway, he beat Sang-Woo when they fought each other, so that is skill
Second red light green light: He won already with pure skill, so he could do the red light green light with skill and not having to rely on luck
Six legged race: He technically got it first try, besides the frontman didnât get it first try
Mingle: Most of the time he chose his team over himself, letting them form groups to go in rooms leaving him behind, while he uses his skill to find other people that would be fitting to be in a group with, so I wouldnât say that is luck either
All in all, Seong Gi-Hun doesnât need pure luck to beat the Squid Games, as most of them was based on his skill

I think that's what makes Gi-Hun so special. He's an anomaly, he wasnt supposed to win, and this is why season two happens. Ever wondered why none of the previous winners tried to stop the games or report it to the authorities? Its because they were probably stone cold killers ready to sacrifice anyone for their own sake.
