He's absolutely correct. I've been homeless and living in my car for the past 7 weeks and I've gained 20 pounds. I've had to eat the cheapest of foods and I don't get any exercise cuz I need surgery on my knee. Don't ever fall into this type of routine cuz it will destroy your health. Good on you man! Have a good Thanksgiving and drive safely. God bless you!

Iced water in my hydroflask is the best. Chewing ice keeps me alert when I’m trying to make it to the end of a long shift. Some truck stops have the crunching ice…that’s the best.

Coffee is actually pretty healthy as it’s high in antioxidants, and caffeine itself can be beneficial in moderate amounts. As long as you don’t fill the coffee with a bunch of sugar it can be a healthy part of your diet.

Same, I don't drink any of that too. We used to go on 3-day road trips and I was either sleeping or driving and I only had water.

I recommend that whenever you have to drive on the road for more than three hours long distance :( Simply get yourself a bag or two of fresh green grapes from the grocery store and wash them with cold water and place the grapes in a one gallon ziplock bag by your side while driving :) When you're feeling exhausted slowly take one every five minutes or whatever suits your need to stay wide awake :) I'll ditch loud music & beverages while being a lone driver on the highway :( Try it and see if you like it :)

If you don’t drink it at all, missing it one day won’t be a drag. Definitely recommend that👍 it’s lowkey an addiction that’s getting expensive

If you "don't want your diet to be unhealthy, too," then you should quit drinking that MILK! I see that half-gallon sitting there. Dairy from cows is so unhealthy for us humans! I have been 100% dairy-free since about the year 2000, but in the few years prior to that, I had been removing certain dairy items from my diet, one by one. The first change was switching cow milk in my cereal to soy milk. The last and most difficult change was quitting ice cream. I made this choice so many years ago to take dairy completely out of my diet mainly for the reason of impacts to my own physical health, however, I removed the things one at a time (rather than all at once) not because of a physiological reason, but because of the psychological aspect. This is a HUGE lifestyle change that can be very difficult and challenging! Making such a drastic change, like totally removing all dairy from your diet, is more a mental exercise than anything else. It's very good for personal discipline and self-accountability. It also, truly is, MUCH more healthy for your body physically.
