Love that southern drawl. That is my thing also. Talk to me about 30 seconds and you know I'm from the south. Brought up in a little country church. Garden, canning, pigs, horses, cows, I'm also 69. Would love to be your neighbor. When my now 44 year old daughter was in middle and high school, my kitchen was used by so many kids coming to my house to make jelly for the fair and sew first time aprons. God is the leader of my house and Savior from all sins past and carries me through the new tough ones I go through. āļøāļøššš¹š¹ššš„¤

You couldn't be more right, Val. Homemaking, and all it entails, is a lost art. It makes me very sad. Although my family consists of only children with paws, I do my best to provide us with a clean, comfortable, safe, happy home and love to cook, bake and sew/craft.
We are unfortunately a dying breed.
