I don't think it's cheating but gives you a little edge in a large lake or Sea, but on a small Lake I don't see the necessity, I personally like not knowing where they are, the element of surprise specially fly fishing kinda knowing where they might be hiding but not fully certain keeps me excited.
Regardless fishing is a very personal thing so you fish the way it makes you happy and excited and keep doing your thing.

personal I don't think its cheating it simple a tool to scout out fish. But if its for a tourement i feel like it should not be alowed but other than that i feel like there fine

i dont think it’s cheating just an advantage to take, well, advantage of! it can enhance your fishing experience. i don’t see it as a necessity all the time though. i also like the fun of not knowing where the fish are for the surprise!

I’ve never used live scope but I don’t think it’s cheating I just think it helps but if you use it for every single tactic it can make fishing become way different and not using it would feel weird lol
