You're right, that is a bad argument. But, that doesn't mean you've necessarily disproven the validity of liberal sentiment towards Trump. By the same token, plenty of conservatives have made equally nonsensical claims, such as claiming that Obama is not a US citizen. This isn't to say I agree with conservative political philosophy, but if a liberal were to suggest their ideology is correct because portions of the opposition make nonsensical claims, I would have to correct them on their fallacious reasoning. That is to say, politics are complicated, and many people who identify under the same general political label can have vastly differing views. It's no different than finding some alt right JQ believer who supports Trump and demonstrating why their political perspective is unreasonable or irrational. While you may have disproven this particular perspective, you have not actually addressed the ideology as a whole, or why you disagree with said ideology. You've only demonstrated that a member(s) of the opposition is (are) dumb. Which might not be entirely incorrect in your case, but fundamentally only people who are already conservative will agree with the validity of such an argument or suggestion. It is unlikely to change the mind of any liberals who are on the fence. Although, I don't know why you're making these videos or for who. Maybe you have a reason for constructing your argument as such, I would have no way of telling. With that said, I'm sure you can acknowledge some of Trumps wrong doings. I don't hate the guy, but I see him for what he is, which is certainly not a paragon of morality. What do you think?
