Can you imagine if magnetic hammer salesman came to your house and just started putting nails in everything, just slamming a hammer into all your hard surfaces making full eye contact saying "it works, see it works" šŸ˜‚

All it needs now is a hand grip, a new stock, 22mm nail ammo and a sight for accuracy!

That's pretty dope. I've dropped and broken a few neo magnets so I'm curious how these will hold up to the constant hammer smashing as well as it being exposed to the elements.

Reminds me of my roofing hammer. The magnetic face is nice for cap nails where accuracy isn't super important. Interesting design to be able to take off the magnetic face for more precision and accuracy when that is what's needed!

isnā€™t shock/impacts like the worst thing for a magnet? also iā€™d lose that little bit first day for sure.

This is most definitely the coolest, most functional hammer I have ever seen in my life. Now they've done gone and made it cooler by making a magnetic tip for it.

i mean i guess thatā€™s helpful if either you donā€™t care where the nails go or you have remarkable accuracy with it

I think everyone here complaining and just saying ā€œ the magnetic tool wonā€™t lastā€ well a lot of tools donā€™t . Boo hoo grow up and invest into something that makes work not only easier but more efficient. Unless you have something currently faster than your hands. This is a good thing idcā€¦ Iā€™m a fellow tradesman from residential and commercial. Not a framer of course or shingle guy but, this is neat and FAR more effective than your hands. No matter what you sayā€¦ so many people on YT and social media quick to downplay someone videos and what not and be negative know it alls. See it way to much in this worldā€¦.šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø yā€™all have a wonderful day. Especially to the man who went out of his way to make this vide

Thereā€™s a reason they donā€™t make hammers with magnetic tips. Strong magnetic, rare earth metals like Neodymium are extremely brittle. You wouldnā€™t want your hammer shattering every time it hits a hard surface. The other metals magnets can be made from arenā€™t as strong magnetically, lose magnetism easily, or are made with softer metals.

Upholstery tack hammers have that magnetic feature.

That boss hammer is cool. I have talked to the man that designed them he has put a lot of thought into it.

we need a product to piss off every oldschool roofer/carpenter when their apprentice shows up with it.

YES....

If it works half as good as a mag-hatch and isn't $80 this is probably a handy little tool to keep around.
