Celebrating my birthday at #throubisantorini was a disappointment! After a challenging couple of years filled with ups and downs, I wanted this day to be truly special. We even flew from the other side of the world to Santorini and booked a table 4 months in advance to ensure an unobstructed view of the breathtaking Caldera. We prepaid 200€ for the reservation. However, there was a little hiccup - the restaurant forgot about my birthday and we didn’t even get a front-row table 🙃. Thankfully, my husband saved the day by informing our waiter about the occasion when he realized nothing was being done. In the end, they brought a tiny cookie topped with a single candle and handed us the bill! 😆 Both #andronisconcept hotel and #throubisantorini forgot about my birthday 😊. Although, there were both previously informed. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay at the lovely hotel. However, I would advise caution ⛔️ when celebrating a special occasion ‪@AndronisHotels‬ especially an engagement 💍, anniversary, or birthday. Lower your expectations. Nevertheless, for dinner, you might want to consider other options as the food was average, and we ended up ordering five main dishes to satisfy two adults and two kids. The service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly. If you don’t have a view from your room, this might be a good option if you get a table with unobstructed views. On the other hand, Throubi’s breakfast was delicious, and the staff was incredibly kind.
