Hopefully I will never need to use this info, however, I feel like with the amount of cicadas that I’ve seen in my lifetime, the thought of responsibly harvesting them NEVER would have crossed my mind😂 so good on you

I'm not against other people eating cicadas, but I do have Major Food Allergies and I don't want to be the first person who has a cicada allergy. Can you imagine how embarrassing that would be?

I know a lot of people have a strong aversion to this, but I think eating cicadas is a great way to build a deeper connection with your local ecology! They’re super high in protein (double what you can get from beef). Also, they’re delicious, like seriously delicious, if you gather them at the right stage!
