Im a new small brand clothing designer here, like just starting in a completely different avenue, but just a thought from what Ive learned: if you contact the design teams at the brands you like, you could offer to pay for sample pieces made in your size as a one-off. They recieve one-off samples of all their items pre-production from the factory in most sizes to check for quality and make tweaks, and it wouldnt be any trouble to them to just order a differently sized extra unit every now and then. Get to know them through linked in, and see if they could help you out. You may only have to pay shipping in some cases. I know some amputees do this woth shoe companies when they only need a left or a right.
