Chongqing-Hunan Double-line Expressway expected to open by this year-end

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) #Chongqing to #Hunan Double-line Expressway is a vital part of the eastern part of the New Western Land-sea Corridor, spanning 280km and passing through 5 districts and counties including Banan, Nanchuan, Wulong, Pengshui, and Youyang. It is now fully entering its final stages, with service areas, landscaping, and main road surface paving underway, and it is expected to open to traffic by the end of this year. Once completed, it will significantly reduce the distance between the southeastern region of Chongqing and the main urban economic circle, promoting rapid economic and social development along it.

重庆（重庆新闻网）——渝湘复线高速公路是西部陆海新通道东段的重要组成部分，全长280公里，途经巴南、南川、武隆、彭水、酉阳5个区县。目前，该复线已全面进入收尾阶段，正在进行服务区、绿化、主干道路面铺设等工作，预计今年年底建成通车。该复线建成后，将大大缩短重庆东南地区与主城区经济圈的距离，促进沿线经济社会快速发展。
