He makes nothing but the wrong decisions. It amazes me that it doesn't phase him at all. Anything he has is because he lied, stole, schemed, deceived for. I wouldn't even say a word about someone else if I was always wrong. I keep telling him to take care of what he should be doing instead of constantly checking on what I'm doing. He ignores me and continues making mistakes. Nothing else to do but walk away from his chaos.

I cracked up laughing at “ you have way more flaws than I do”. That’s exactly what he thinks. “Before” I believed him. “After” I know how damaged he really is. Yesterday I told him to look in a mirror when he starts in on my perceived flaws. ❤❤

Everything has to be about him ALL THE TIME. He's Forever accusing me of all the crimes his step siblings and their spouses did to him right since his birth. He projects their crimes plus his own on to me ALL THE TIME. I'm completely worn out, burnt out and left empty at 55 yrs age.. bcoz ive been extremely foolish and given in to his bullying and controlling. Sadly his manipulations have left my mind a mess 😢
Luckily my 34 yr old son is a Rock of Gibraltar 🙏 he's been working on my broken down psyche since years now God is merciful to have given me such a pure heart and soul as my child 🙏 else i was close to an irreversible breakdown 😢

Sounds like a dictatorship!! But when you unplug and walk away from them, their fragile egos are soooo deeply bruised. They expect you to fold and go into the fetal position. They don't realize the resilience a person has once they're done with them, set firm boundaries and build your own life. Addition by subtraction.

Thank-you, Dr. Carter. On October 18, 2023, I was on the receiving end of a narcissist's "distortive thinking" and it was extremely painful including the words of feeling I was beneath him. Your words of distortive thinking will help dilute what else was said to me that night. They really are such cruel beings.
