Neuroscientist Andrew Huberman has revealed the simplest trick in the book to learn anything- be it a technical skill or a new language.


The first rule to follow is the 85% rule. Huberman believes that to learn something quickly, you need to set a reasonable goal. The goal should be small and achievable.
So, do this divide a larger goal into smaller chunks to make it easier and more achievable

The next thing, and the biggest reason why you should set small, more-achievable goals is to make fewer mistakes. Huberman says that you should achieve at least 85% accuracy when you're on the path of achieving your goals. This plays a big role in keeping you motivated to achieve more and learn bigger things.

Finally, huberman also laye down the importance of rest during skill development. It is important to learn in short bursts and take a short nap in between. Huberman says that our brain's neurons replay the things that we study when we rest and take a break in between skill development.
