That must be a hard religion to follow. How do people do this to their homes? Mine would go up in flames! I'm really careful of cross contamination due to severe allergies. I have a counter for gluten and one for NO gluten, but still clean everything before I start cooking anything for anyone!

A rule from a time people didn't have kitchens and instead just had a large metal pot over a fire. Makes me wonder what they did when kitchens finally came around in the late middle ages and everything was made of wood? Because, you dont hear stories of "The Great Fire of (insert European city)" starting in its jewish quarter on passover, its usually a baker or a blacksmith getting lazy about putting out to oven at the end of the workday
