im pretty good at differentiating vocals/sounds in general and Kurt is definitely backing Dave in the song. Also, the song they did, 'Seasons In The Sun' where Kurt was on drums to me, sounds like a similar drumming style to that of Marigold.

Kurt absolutelu did backing vocals and played the drums. You can espescially hear kurts twang at the end of the choruses if you listen close, and dave grohl has a very particular and precise drumming style that isnt present on marigold so one can only assume kurt did it
