If im right, a senior member of the fia said that they want to use net zero catnin fuels in the somewhat near future in order to remive the electrical side of the engine, whilst remaining eco friendly

Since Formula E exists, shouldn't the regulations for F1 be more focused on keeping the ICE component of the car? I mean the energy recovery thing we have right now is good and all since it increases fuel economy for distance to volume ratio, but essentially the 2026 cars will be hybrids. Kinda taking away the point.

I would be interested to see a petrol engine converted to run on bio fuel with or without the turbo as that would mean from what understand you could use current tech which could bring back V8, V10 and V12. Also, ideally, give the teams some unique way to compete and be competitive.
Also, it would be nice to light then cars, so it brings more action to the track by removing the hybrid systems. I probably won't happen, but it would be nice to see the teams choose their own avenues

Pretty much the same way my hybrid car works. Audi tested that almost 2 decades ago on Le Mans. Today we have it onto the street. Thanks Audi!
