In the US, the locks are very simple, in the Balkans it is very difficult to open a lock more modern than elzet literally if both doors and locks are quality only firefighters with hydraulics can open them. A very big problem is losing the key you have to have with a friend because no locksmith can open it.

Obviously the lock wasn't installed properly, if the dead latch plunger is inside the jam then it can be depressed. If installed properly you can't push it in.

Most locksmiths who know what they are doing would have put the one with the flat bolt on the other side of the wedge. I'm not a locksmith, so IDK what it's called.

Turn the striker plate around and the striker,better yet try it from the other side.

Even with the antiloiding pin properly installed there is usually enough flex in the door that if you lean on it hard enough you can get the PIN to free itself.

You could’ve turned the center of the knob with a dime and unlocked the door. It’s a privacy function knob.

Works great on a door knob installed the wrong way/reversed. The flat part should always be facing the locked side to avoid someone sliding a card or wire. So not that impressive.
What next he opens a door installed with the screws outside so he just needs a screwdriver?

It's a bathroom lock with a spring latch. It is meant to be opened easily.
