Cain robbed a train. Got it to stop cause the tracks were blown, cause Cain had heard there was a wagon with a bone. There was no bone so Cain became mad, shot up the Pinkertons and it was bad. Now he's a stray that's on the run, never to be caught cause he's good with a gun.

Now that I think about it itās insane how they put so much detail into this game even going so far as to make little interactions such as this. It makes it feel like real life kinda.

I like how Dutch named him Caine the brother who was forced to walk the earth for eternity with his sin for killing his brother. Kind of like Dutch at the end.

He's quoting Cain from scriptures, Cain killed his brother Abel and now he roams the world as a wanderer, in some interpretations Cain is immortal as God's punishment.

This is part of the reason I canāt truly ever look at Dutch as a villain. Like I donāt see him as insincere in his intentions or in his care for the people of the gang, hell look at what he was willing to do to get Jack back. He clearly just wasnāt not able to handle the back to back to back to back fuckups, and with losing Hosea who coupled with Arthur were able to keep him rational, this allowed Micah to sow more and more poisonous flights of fancy and thus Dutch sank and wasnāt able to see clearly again until the day he died.

It's a great touch to include moments like these where you can see why Arthur is so loyal to Dutch. He was a good man at some point, and Arthur and John just couldn't see he'd changed until it was too late.
