Itβs all the same shit. Just learn C++ first (donβt go crazy with it), simple terminal based programs; This will teach you the basics of control flow, types, procedural code, etc. Then learn Java for all the OOP stuff. Java is perfect for this because it forces you to use objects. After this, Python, JavaScript, etc would be easy: the same shit in different formats.

Java is not dying but certainly is declining, especially about back-end development. I mean, if you can write backends with rust or go and probably about 1 or 2 years with bun, why do you need to write java back-ends? I think there is no need for that, java becomes obsolete for back-end development. But about android, java is best choice i think and it's the only reason for me to learn java.
