Surgery to remove fibroids from the uterus is called myomectomy. Non-cancerous lumps are formed in the uterus, which are of different sizes and different names. Non-cancerous uterine fibroids include subserous, intramural, submucosal and pedunculated fibroids. Symptoms are experienced when there is a non-cancerous lump in the tumor. Due to fibroids, women have to face many types of reproductive problems i.e. infertility. To solve these problems, doctors recommend myomectomy surgery. Although it depends on the condition of the surgical woman that which myomectomy should be done.
