Im a historian. None of this is accurate or true at all. They dressed and armed themselves as normal men and didn't go out into tho wild. They didn't do rebirth or death or live as animal. Berserker were just normal dudes. Even if they went berserk thru mushrooms or anything else is debated. They maybe were just elite soldiers.

I read that when returning from battle a tribe would send out women one at a time to meet the Berserker and he would probably kill one or two until he came to his senses and could approach or return with his senses .
