For people saying that "Core stability is equally important as muscle growth" i understand that as an MMA athlete but i just want to say that you should read the title of the video before doing any comment he has already written "Do this for maximum muscle growth" He never said that do these if you also want core stability....

READ & LEARN โก๏ธ This info is in regards hypertrophy, not necessarily overall โstrengthโ โ It all depends on your goal.
Functional strength training used to be my profession as a pro heavyweight strongman. There are only like 100 in the USA. I was a part of the elite. Clearly I loved that style of training, but itโs NOT the best for building muscle. Hereโs why:
To grow a muscle fiber, you need to activate and tension it โ If you want to grow all fibers within a muscle, you need to tension them all
You canโt apply tension to them unless your body activates, or โrecruits,โ those fibers in the first place
If an exercise lacks stability, your body will deliberately recruit fewer fibers in the muscle(s) youโre trying to target
This is why stability is crucial for effective hypertrophy training
The issue with using functional strength training for building muscle is this: itโs not inherently stable.
So, to build as much muscle as possible, pick stable exercises. Stick with them for months at a time. Push them to failure (or close to it). Get stronger at them. BE PATIENT. Building an elite physique takes a long time.
