SU-35 vs F-22 Raptor - Dogfight Analysis #shorts
The American F-22 Raptor and the Russian SU-35 Flanker-E are both high-performance multi-role combat aircraft.
Raptor became operation-capable in 2005 and was the world's only fifth-generation fighter aircraft at the time.
It is still not up for sale, however.
Russia played a similar hand, upgrading the proven SU-27 to the SU-35.
China and Egypt were among the first buyers of the jet, which falls just short of fifth-generation.

ARMAMENT
F-22:One M61A2 20mm cannon (480 rounds). Two AIM-9 air-to-air missiles.
SU-35: 12 stations for 8,000kg of ordnance. Up to 12 missiles, six at a time.
The weapons bay on the F-22 can be kitted out for air-to-air, or air-to-ground missions, but the Flanker-E has a larger internal cannon and 12 stations for up to 8,000kg of missiles, rockets, and bombs.
It can hold more missiles but fires them in bunches, so can take fewer shots.
COST
F-22: $150m (£124.2m) ($334m/£276.6m with R&D)
SU-35 - $60m (£49.7m)
STEALTH
The F-22's ability to hide means it would likely see the Flanker-E long before it is spotted.
Its fifth-generation design leaps mean a few metres of the SU-35 show up on a radar, but for the Raptor, it is less than the size of a bottle cap.
