I had this same issue. Maybe. It was a new lite, so I knew it wasnāt a battery age issue. The charge % was dropping by the minute. I let it die and power off on its own, then fully charged it. No issue since.

Had this happen to me. Just started using it again and it magically went back to working normally

Battery swap isn't too hard. The only hard part is getting the old battery unglued from the console but with a little patience it comes up

Nintendo has been having some bad firmware, causing sleep and discharge issues. They supposedly fixed it in the last update.

I have the regular switch and itās getting to where I may get 2 hours maybe a little more out it undocked is that normal or is my battery going bad Iāve had my switch docked for years never really playing it mainly playing my ps5 now I decided it to give it some play time and this is happening is it normal also it will charge normally on the dock however it basically wonāt charge with my car charger while Iām using it even though itās saying it is is that normal as well like it will go down to like 5% Iāll plug my car charger in and maybe 10 minutes later or less itās dead even plugged up

Bro the switch light is seriously meant for children that can't handle having more than just one piece in their hand like a phone but with a few buttons in an analog stick or joystick if you will you really can't even play half of the games on that thing because it's built for only children not adults

Sounds like the battery, I know there used to be a "memory" you could reset on older devices but i would imagine on newer devices thats no longer a thing. But essentially the "amount" of battery you have is a lot less now so it doesnt take as long to charge but also discharges quickly. Replacing the battery would probably fix.
