I totally get where Billi is coming from. My Boy UNO hates the intro to Deadliest Catch. They always open the show with some form of ocean wave crashing sound, and the deep, resonant booming of the ship crashing through the waves always triggers, my UNO, into flight mode. He eventually comes back, after I adjust the volume level, more to his liking. He loves watching the seagulls going after the crab, and windsurfing the air currents next to the ship, as it plow's through the ocean.

Cats ears are tuned to pick up the tiniest rustling of a mouse. It’s as if the volume is turned way up inside them. Loudness really hurts them.

I'm on the autistic spectrum and noises are one of my problems. Everything is always too loud for me. I've noticed that cats tend to stay around me more than around other people because I often isolate myself in the quietest areas of the house.

The old CRT TVs were a strobe to them...our trash cans n the kitchen...the sound on TV's & stereos....

Watching Billy complain about sounds made me realize my cat's just like her, but he doesn't have buttons so he bites us whenever it's too loud
