I'm Swedish... and I LOVE Canadian cartoons, but I couldn't detect any kind of accent in most of them (since English isn't my first language). However, one day I turned on the tv and there was some reality show and I went "THAT WOMAN'S CANADIAN!" ...apparently watching 6Teen for 3 weeks straight had taught me how it sounds. YAY FOR ME :D I agree it's more like "abewt", though
