The Benefit of reciting the Powerful Mantra of Vajrapani, excerpted from the teaching bestowed on the Rinchen Terdzö Empowerment Day 63.


As now reached about Vajrapani’s section. The first Vajrapani’s empowerment doesn’t exist in the main texts of The Great Treasury of Rediscovered Teachings. It’s exists in the text 'dod 'jo'i bum bzang, (Three volumes of the treasury texts which was compiled by Minling Terchen Gyurme Dorje (1646-1714) and is considered to be the "seed" of the Rinchen Terdzö)

This mantra, when I was a small I got an Epilepsy disease, having convulsions and
My hands used to have an involuntary movements I was very young. Then I have visited the His Holiness Vajradhara Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and he said this mantra is supreme. It has great benefits If you recite this mantra from the text of Tantra of the Storied Palace.

It’s same like Nima Dhung Kyung (Protection from scorching Sun) Vajrapani’s Practice, When the sun set above the mountain peak at evening, if this mantra is recited hundred times every day. It has great benefits in preventing the Epilepsy, Disease of Deities of Land, and likewise other harmful sickness can be prevented.

As per my experienced, later I has recited constantly and I am healed from the disease. I was well cleansed. Thus, even in later period of presence of His Holiness Kyabje Vajradhara Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Rinpoche himself also used to recite this mantra every day at evening. It is said, this is a most powerful mantra among the various Vajrapani’s mantras. It’s, “Om Ni Lam Bhara Dhara Vajrapani Rajna Paya Ti Swoha” That’s it.

༄༅། །རིན་ཆེན་གཏེར་མཛོད་ཆེན་མོའི་བཀའ་དབང་ཉིན་གྲངས་དྲུག་ཅུ་རེ་གསུམ་པར་སྩལ་བའི་གསུང་ཆོས་ལས་ཟུར་དུ་ཕྱུང་བ་ཕྱག་རྡོར་གྱི་གཟུངས་སྔགས་ནུས་ཅན་གྱི་ཕན་ཡོན་གྱི་སྐོར།
