Those jumper battery packs are so useful, I consider them a mandatory accessory at this point. Saved my butt, and other people I've helped, so many times. Way faster than a traditional jump too. Main complication is sometimes the cable is too short for the weird cars that hide the battery ground somewhere far from the positive.

This is great information for those who arent as mechanically inclined! Basics are crucial!
Some other things that may apply that cant be addressed in short form:
You may need to let the jumper charge the battery for a minute or so if it doesnt start immediately. I've noticed if the battery is very dead or the jumper has lower charge, it may take more time to get the battery to a good level, not always but sometimes.
Make sure where it connects is clean, clear and dry. I've had clients try to jump a battery that has corrosion(white/blue crusty residue) blocking the connection. Clean with whatever you have on hand to make for a good connection.
Some vehicles have the battery in the trunk(very common for german cars). In that case you have two options: open the trunk, or you might have terminals under the hood that are for this purpose. The locations vary wildly for each vehicle. Look for a red plus near a thick metal nub, thats your positive terminal. The negative terminal should be nearby with a minus sign, or on the opposite side of the engine bay. Some vehicles, like a prius, have the positive terminal under a plastic red cover but the negative is nowhere to be found. In that case you can use any UNPAINTED BARE metal piece connected to the frame itself, like a bolt.
Not as experienced as Rasta, but just a few things I've picked up working this field. Let me know if i got anything wrong, peace and love! βοΈ

People may say this is stupid and they already know this. But it's unreal how many people don't know the basics of cars like changing a tire or jump starting a battery. Thank you for this clip so people can learn without it being over complex.
