Movie theaters need to start doing this, too. Any movie showing after 8PM? No kids under 16!
Movies with any rating other than PG? No kids at all hours! Don't care if the parents already bought tickets, turn them away and don't let them enter the theater.

As a parent I've never understood bars letting children in. It defeats the purpose of drinking responsibly and puts them in potential danger(and the bar too legally)

I have 4 kids, I get that "kids are people" but just because I have them doesn't mean everyone has to endure them. good on the establishment for sticking to their guns, bars are not for children.

I'd understand the issue if it wasn't for the fact that there are MANY child friendly places so it's not like parents are being shunned from public into staying home, if you think about it there are not many casual outing places that exclude children in public so if you want to leave the house and ONLY be around other adults your options are limited to like night club environments and that's not for everyone.

How silly!! I am a Mom, and think this is ridiculous!! Of course there should be places that don't allow children, for people to have a peaceful experience, without worry about what they're saying, how they're dressed, and all the other social things these very families get upset about when their children are present. As though you need to accommodate to my children in an adult place. I mean, there's upteen thousand other places families can go with their kids. I have had friends who even made their weddings child free, and I've never seen such ignorant responses from their own famiy and friends about doing that. I wasn't a bit offended. I love my kids, but kids are unpredictable in their behavior a lot of the time, and it's unfair that nowhere should be designated as a no children allowed place. I hope more people, like you all will give that place good reviews, and that others reading will understand how silly those low reviews are.

Bars are not for kids. I also wish restaurants enforce no kids after a certain time. Like we want to hear a kid screaming because they are fighting their sleep and should be at home in bed. Some parents are too freaking entitled! Not everything is for everyone even adults and definitely kids.

Great. It is hard to find adult childfree places to go. Bars are not places for kids. The pub where I am ban kids after 8pm (I wish earlier) I always write a good review if there are childfree areas and restrictions. Who wants to have an adult conversation with kids on the next table.

Who takes a child to a BAR! I am totally one of those crazy hippies whos glad pot is slowly being legalized and who's all for lowering the drinking age to 18 (you can buy a house but you cant have a beer, b.s.) but kids...in a bar? Nope.

LMAO, they are complaining about not being able to take kids to a bar? Since when do people even do that? In my country minors ARE allowed in most bars (unless it's some red light thing - we have legal prostitution here), but people still do not usually take them, because WHY would you want to go out drinking with children?
