To be fair Bulma was on her way to give the detonator and she just happen to run into Krillin so it made sense to give the detonator to the closest Z-fighter there instead of risking you’re own and your baby’s life to bring the detonator she also didn’t asume he would be stupid enough to risk the world for some cheeks of a girl he barely knew
