Ur definitely strong enough to hit 225 already. Stiffen your body before the lift and use leg drive! Watch Squat University for more tips

Grow that back too, it makes a surprisingly big difference how much control you have over the weight on bench, when you get a stronger back.

Strength isnā€™t your problem itā€™s form so hereā€™s a step by step to Guarantee you launch that weight next time your under that bar 1. Arch your back( itā€™ll feel weird at first but it puts your chest in a more ā€œoptimalā€ position) 2. Pinch your shoulder blades together tight like your trying to hold a pencil between your back muscles 3. Take a nice full breath (not completely full lungs but about 80-90%) then brace your core hard 4. Make sure your bar path is correct by pressing straight up for a few inches then change corse of the bar towards about nose or eye level. And if you wanna really over do it load your body with quick energy like Gatorade before you hit it sugar usually helps me through fatigue and picks up some slack if I warmed up a little too hard. Hope this helps and I see you smacking three plates soon.

With some proper back bracing and leg drive you can put that weight up. Before you lift that bar up pull your shoulders back, arch your back and bring your feet closer to you so you can drive them into the ground as your lifting. That weight will move.

Open up your chest, act like your Superman tearing open your button up showing his symbol, thatā€™ll give you a solid base for your shoulder blades, plant your feet and butt and drive through them while keeping all three points of contact(shoulders, butt and feet). Also keep a slight arch of your back, I mean slight not like the ego lifters that barely move the bar, I like your warm up of the rotor cuff which is very important! Keeping working hard! 315 is in your future!

work on shoulder strength, if your failing in the middle of the rep then it's probably your shoulders failing.

You gotta keep your back tight. Connect both your right and left shoulder blades together like your squeezing a pencil in the middle of your back. Force your feet down and make sure they canā€™t move (or be loose). Your feet also have to face 15Ā° out. Your elbows also have to tucked in a little more too

bro you can rep 185? you can defiantly hit 225. But your bouncing the weigh and not controlling it at all. Stiffen your body and have more stabilization.
