In the case of gxf6 then Ne5#
You need to remove defenders to win the game

Why doesn't black take e4 after d4? He attacks your knight and you're now forced to move.

These traps just never work. The stars have to align, your opponent needs to play 1/1000 moves. Best to always just learn solid chess and wait for mistakes.

And sometimes stockfish will analyse your move as an “inaccuracy” because you didn’t take that damn pawn

after black blunders like they do in all of igor's videos, you mate your opponent.

after counter strike center, why cant black just take e4? and pressuring the knight on f3?
white would be forced to move back to g1 or d2 which block the dark square bishop. ?
and then black move knight to f6 after the white knight retreats..

That's a Philidor Defense transposed into an advanced Albin Countergambit/Queen's Gambit (Declined). Fancy!

No one ive ever played with would not just take on e4 instead of developing the knight. Can you explain why its a bad move? Why wouldnt they just take. I cant even see a good response. Their queen is blocking all your good knight moves so your only valid moves are knight back or in front of queen, trapping bishop. Playing the aggressive pawn looks like it destroys white instead.

It's a cool checkmate but i feel like it relies on black playing a really bad move Bd7. Black had lots of other moves that make more sense to play and to top it off Bd7 looks like (imo) a complete "nothing move" for black to play; even if white didnt have tactics afterwards. Maybe I'm missing something but because of all that I don't see this ever really being played in a game . I just can't imagine black pieces would choose a move like that .

Queen Sacrifice; Why would Black capture with the King instead of the pawn?
