Dr.Mikes level of awareness is the level that we should all strive to achieve in life. Look at it from the perspective of everyone, even if you feel it's going to contradict your beliefs.
It's better to know it all and be wrong, than to think you're right about something you barely understand đ¤

Go to farmer's markets and look for sellers who are "chemical free" if you want nothing sprayed. Financially, small farmers cannot normally afford an organic certification, but are passionate about producing quality food. If they're honest, they are normally happy to answer all questions, their experiences with pest management, and some don't mind tours.

Here is some info from Michigan State University:
"Pesticide residues will be at or below safe consumption levels, even for vulnerable populations. Therefore, itâs not harmful to your health to eat foods that may contain pesticide residues.
Peeling and trimming: Peeling and/or trimming the outer layer of skin or leaves on fruits and vegetables will help reduce pesticide residues
Rinsing: Rinsing produce in warm water for at least one minute or longer can help reduce pesticide presence on produce.Â
Soaking:Â Soaking produce in warm water is one of the easiest and most effective ways to remove pesticide residuesÂ
Combination: Using one or more of the above techniques will help you remove dirt and pesticide residues
While you can remove pesticide residues using a soaking solution such as vinegar and water or salt and water, itâs not advisable. Thereâs a small risk the chemical reaction between the pesticides and the solution could produce potentially harmful compounds."

I appreciate you calling out the fact that organic produce does use pesticides! Saying it doesnât use any at all is spreading false information. There is too much fear mongering around nutrition. As long as people are eating more fruits and vegetables and less processed foods in general, who cares if itâs organic. Eating more fruits and vegetables far out ways any concerns with pesticides.

As an organic farmer, yes we do still use pesticides. They are organic grade and biodegradable but they are still pesticides. Wash your fruits and veggies loves
