It'll be broken by the end of the first job it was used on

Those locking pins will either snap or be driven down into that thin gauge sheet metal within the first few holes. With this,.you do the digging instead of the weight of the tool.

Well, that's gonna last like 10 minutes before that 14Ga. tubing is completely fuckered.

It's an overall good idea, but horribly designed.
You need the impact interface to be much stronger.

Use thicker tubing and and interrupted thread on the inside.

I like the idea I don’t like how there demoing in soft top soil from home depot it just doesn’t sell me on the price. Plus as someone who uses a pair of diggers daily I’d be worried that they would break super easily. A good pair of diggers last me about a season before a breaks.

But the damn hole has to be wider so you can separate the handles in order to grab the dirt. Plus, I like the holes being wider so I can put more concrete in the hole. If I used that for a 4" post, the concrete is going to give every time. Not enough R&D on this one I think.

It looks all good and gravy when you dig in Potting soil but unfortunately we dig in areas that have lots of roots and old fences
Here in Houston both right and left of old post have old concrete, and a lot of areas the soil is really compact and tough unlike the Potting soil

Easy training for a threeway with two side by side. The old ones you had to go at an angle

Until I see a demonstration video where this same guy digs 20 holes in hard earth full of rocks, I don’t buy it. Seems like it will break, the connection points are threaded contacts, I doubt they will last a full day. Used plenty of diggers, I would be way more likely to use a breaker bar in a pinch than upgrade my post hole diggers. You use the diggers to clean out when you use something else to hammer down. And you aren’t going to break the hard stuff no matter how hard you hammer with a post hole digger
