Short look at a Schindler M-Series lift with glass doors! The lift was built in 2003 and serves 6 floors with a speed of 1m/s and a capacity of 2000kg / 26 persons. Its is a traction lift in 2:1 configuration with the machine located on the basement floor. The machine in question is a large Schindler W250 gearbox driven by a VM160 motor with 22.5 kW of power output. The brain of the lift is a Miconic SX controller paired with a Variodyn VF85 BR drive.

It kinda looks like one of the lifts at the central station in basel. If it is one of them i think it might be the lift that switches off after 10 PM

Very nice basement traction machine, 2:1 under-slug roping. I have watched a couple of videos of basement machines where the counterweight was mounted on the same side, as the driven sheave. Ropes are likely dead hitched on the left side of the cab and counterweight.
