27 May 2023. Hong Kong travel. Arrived at Hong Kong International Airport. Clocked 20,475 steps walking for the day sight-seeing Hong Kong. No leg muscle cramps as I had been walking an average of 5,000 steps in Singapore for the few days prior to travel to Hong Kong.
If not conditioned to long walks, the person will get upper thigh muscle cramps in the medial areas and calf muscle cramps walking over 20,000 steps in a day of sight-seeing.
I walked around 10,000 steps over the 4-day stay in Hong Kong and Macau. I do experience slight pain in the upper thigh muscles telling me that I had not been walking so many steps in the past and was not fully fit to do so.
