Definitely getting one of these. Been a year at this restaurant I’m currently at and the second day my car got broken into and my backpack with my recipes and my knife roll was taken. Still haven’t replaced any of it bc it still hurts. Just been using work knives at both kitchens I work in. Appreciate the idea.

I got drunk at the end of my last shift at one place, took an Uber home and left my knife roll in the car. I almost had a heart-attack when I couldn't find my knives. To make it more complicated, my friend ordered the Uber, so I had to get him to contact the driver for me. Luckily the driver was a G, he texted me his address and I went over and he gave me my knives, no issue. I noticed the knives weren't in their usual place though, so he must have taken them out to have a closer look. Also, it was about $2k worth of knives.
