The bigger vTuber was Dennou Shojo Siro (one of the 4 Heavenly Kings). Siro recommended Sora and to this day they are good friends. Siro still streams today.

From memory Siro actually recommended Sora to her viewers when her stream went down as someone they could watch instead since she couldn't stream, so the boost Sora got that night wasn't some automatic thing or a result of the algorithm but something Siro is directly responsible for.

If you want to do more Sora, there is also the legendary spartan Soratomo story where one of the Soratomo single handedly save Sora’s first EMC event from failing by answering all of the questions.
