it also ruins the tooth enamel, leading to sensitivity and higher chance of infection. it's wild how all dentists always say the same thing and nobody listens. use the SOFTEST brush available, a small drop of toothpaste, and make circular motions from the back to the front. then move on to the top/bottom of the molars, always making sure to bring stuff to the front of your mouth. then the backside of your teeth, scraping upwards from the backside gums. then you're done. it's not that hard.
