It's funny how people are mocking the blue badge now that you can get it by just paying for it, but when you had to know people who knew people and fall inside a specific line to earn it somehow it was more impressive. It's a lot like how in old MMOs players would get the best shiny gear because they were friends with the right guilds and would get priority geared and then they'd stand around the cities and everyone would gawk at how cool they were and imagine how skilled and impressive they were for obtaining it.
