Well done, Ash! I’m happy to report it’s cool-enough over here finally on the other side of the pond now, I’m wearing my auld paddy cap along with my five-year-old Barbour Ashby every day to work. And I kid you not, a guy walking passed me in Midtown over the weekend actually called me out: “Hey, man, I like the Barbour!”

I wear a hat quite often and now have a collection. It started with baseball caps for going hiking, fishing etc. I'm red blond with freckles....zero melanine,.true Brit 👍
But I got a couple of jungle hats for the hiking, fishing, again...cover the ears and neck from the sun.
But now I've got two English tweed hats to go with my Barbour's and a beautiful blue Irish flat cap. All warm and fairly waterproof. And finally, years ago, I bought a wax cotton Barbour deerstalker. Fantastic

I just got a new tweed flat cap from Hannah Hats of Donegal. They’re pricey, but are of superb quality. I live near Nashville, Tenn., where it’s less common to see someone sporting a flat cap. Really makes one stand out here—in a good way.

A few years back, I always wore a cap . I had a matching one for a sports jacket, not on purpose. I only realised when I got the cap home. Also, worn with the old waxed jacket. I have a waxed flat cap. Don't get much use downunder tend to stick with the Akubra.

I've been wearing hats for a couple years, mostly flat caps, they go well with my outfits I wear while driving my 1925 Ford. I came into work recently and the superintendent of the plant who is Austrian... greeted me and said in his very heavy German accent "Why you look so Sophisticated!" Oh my! It was just my black flat cap I usually wear to work.

I wore a flat cap with my tan car coat, it really gave a finishing touch to a rather plain colour. I'll have to wear my Tilley Winter hat more this winter.

I have a collection of 18 Tweed flat caps .9 for summer use 9 for winter use .l never go out without a Hat .l say Bring back Hats !
