My momma stayed with us for the first week we were home with both of my kids. PERIOD That was how I made it. She was the MVP. My boys are now 18 and 13. The BEST advice she ever gave me was to let the baby learn to sleep on their own. Try not to hold him while he’s sleeping all the time and try not to let him get used to co-sleeping. That way they learn to sleep in their own room and their own bed. I know people who have 9, 10, and 11 year olds sleeping with them… no judgement but that wasn’t for me 🤷🏾

I survived by watching something to keep myself awake, YouTube helped a lot. If I was going to be up i might as well have entertainment. Get comfy and rock baby until they’re in a deep sleep 🤍 do the arm check (pick up & drop their arm) then you’re good to go .. hopefull

When my daughter was first born my wife and I only got maybe 10-15 hours of asleep the first week after we brought my daughter home from the hospital lol but enjoy it because kids grow up so fast. I miss those days

Wow whoever told you that did you dirty 😂 you get everything done I mean every little thing while you’re pregnant and other than having help there is no way to get through it just know it’s only like that for a couple weeks and it feels like forever but it will get soo much better even if you have the hardest baby like I do (I had one easy one hard). But just remember to take any 5 mins you can to do something for yourself never let your cup run empty & congratulations❤ being a parent isn’t easy but it’s the most rewarding thing there is in life
