I’m usually not a fan of open back tops. Even with my itty bitties I just never feel they are secure enough for outside wear. But using this thicker fabric could make it better! Your creation from the skirt came out really nice! Inspired me to get back into creative sewing.

I love your inspo top. By making the bow detachable, I really think your top is more versatile. White will look great with it, but bc of the material I would try using the top as a neutral & pair it with a pattern or a deeper color.
