My doctor prescribed Xanax for me 24 years ago to help me sleep and grieve my husband's death. Early this year I switched doctors and my new doctor started tapering the Xanax. I ended up calling 911 and ended up in the hospital. I have so many side effects that may or may not go away. Your videos are a big help for me in many ways. Thank you.

I completely lost my original personality after psychofarmaca and came into a deep identety crisis for decades. Also lost every pleasure in life, no more happy feelings, and intens traumatic feelings in the evenings. After 10 years, they gave me multiple other pils, and my original ocd turned into more than 6 extreme handicaps. For another 20 years. My life became unbearable. Been extreme suisidal ever since. They totally destroyed my life. During hospitalisations, I saw extremes beyond words. People going completely mad, from all the ,, expirimenting,, on them. I,m now beyond traumatised. Every day and night, is an extreme survival.

Abilify made me so tired, it was like being high without the dopamine or happy feelings, just constant dizzying and drowsy affects that made it hard to live day to day life. Just dulled my whole personality

My ex partner had an adverse reaction to sertraline and then an snri. They threw in zopiclone and diazepam because they thought it was her not the drugs. They then took diazepam out 4 months later. Over course of 4 weeks while I was begging her to taper slowly. She went into psychosis. Ended up on antipsychotics and started, lying cheating and manipulating. It was an insane transformation. Still not sure if she was always like that but she would often say "I'm made of steel now"

I'm completely blunted. I can't believe it sometimes. Idk who I am. I wanna be off this stuff to figure out who I am. It's been almost 20 years that I've been on psychiatric meds.

It worked for some years. But dont think you should take them long term. Took them for 16 years and the last 6 years I became more numbed each year. In the end I was diconnected and neurologically immobile.

It's sad that personalities are disposable in this profession.

I enjoy these blunting effects. My emotions have always been too strong ones, for me and for my social environment. On a low dosis, psychotropic medication can be an absolute blessing for some. Sure these are not the right thing for everyone.

After Lexapro and taking it irregularly and tapering irregularly and quickly- my personality is gone. Not Quitting coffee and starting exercise may be the reason though but still something in my personality changed so much I got myself fired and can’t talk to family anymore and can’t stop doing mean things to people.

Absolutely RE: the title of this video. However; most of ur mental health brethren will deny this, Dr. Witt-Doering;. Hence; my mad respect 4 u. Our values (especially RE: psych meds) r practically identical (albeit 4 slightly different reasons).
