I've found that an EV is a wonderful tool for warming up a cold garage when needed. Set the cabin temperature and fan to max, open all the windows and let it rip. It puts out far more BTU than a 1400W space heater. If yours is equipped with a heat pump, force the resistive heater on by selecting defrost/defog mode.

Kate. All the best of luck with the cable loom fab. All orange conductors?? Hope you’re planning to buzz it out before connecting and powering. Of course you are. You’ve been there before. Adventures in a cold garage remind me of my teenage years wiring my Christmas presents of spots/fogs and drilling, mounting switches with tell tale indicators lamps onto the dash of my Mk1 A40 which might have been as old as Rebecca.

I'm about to build a wiring harness for a new car stereo, and a relay box (with latching relays!), switches and more wiring for auxiliary lighting on the used Ford Escape Hybrid we bought a few months ago. I'm trying to make it a lot neater and professional-looking than similar projects in my past. I could use a bit of luck, m'self.
