People say that they are not interested in politics. But they are, often without realising it. When they ask why the price of energy is so high when they ask why their rent is so high when they ask why the council tax is high when they ask why public services are not as good as they used to be when they ask why the NHS is not as good when they ask why their benefit has been cut etc etc… then they show that they are interested in politics.

Being political starts with being engaged & informed about the legislation that effects you.
For example, people should be up in arms about being heavily penalised for having more than £6000 in savings if you need to claim benefits.
That hasn't increased in at least a decade.
Even if you're not claiming, think about how you could be wiped out if you lost your job; needed to find a deposit to move house....

Spot on Gary. I'm fortunate and worked for a great company with a good pension, but over the past 40 years I've still had to engage or be pushed over. It's sad but true. Also, we, the working class (anyone that has to work for a living), needs to engage. "Front line" warfare this.
Thanks for caring Gary.

💯% & in telling people this & trying to bring more soldiers into this war is a war in itself. My advice to all still trying this is to not stay too focused on this as it has burned to much energy & every war has casualties. We have some of the best people on the frontline now, Gary for instance. The effort & contribution now 100% needs to be added on the frontline, political pressure on candidates running for votes policy, emails to MP, requests for answers at each of your representative levels of parliament, let them know what you want done & what values you & your countrymen have.
A worldwide solidarity for individual countries to be fairly governed & remove the corruption otherwise.
For individuals who are unfamiliar with the Icelandic Pots & Pans Revolution back in 2008, look it up. There’s a lot to be learned from this & how the people send a peaceful message, so loud yet crisp clear, they walk themselves out of office. You can’t fall into the lies & trap being force to comply to unjust control as never in history has complying got people out of tyranny.
There’s no democracy without free speech after all. So if you can’t speak politics to representatives after your democratic vote & they attempt to silence your questions where is that democracy??? Democracy is at its core rule by a majority vote of the people for the people
