Thats really neat, but how do you put the gravel and dirt back in and compacted sufficiently to not cause settling issues down the line?

I'm a measley maintenance technician. Is PVC an acceptable sewer pipe? I never seen it in Colorado or California? It's always been abs or whatever they call the black pipe. Or some old cast iron! This would make it much easier to work on in my opinion!
