For years, I have had a burning sensation in the back of my head. That's how I was finally diagnosed.

Sometimes, people just have neuropathic pain, which is not associated with MS. I have a steering wheel cover to help with the hand itching. It helps.

So THAT'S what the hands on fire thing is called. Thank you! I have that in both hands and both feet. (with occasional icy cold toes lol) Is there any known treatment? Thank you Dr Boster! So glad I found your channel. Lisa, UK.

I get pathologic itching but I'm so physically disabled I mostly can't itch the itches. Previously though, I've scratched my head til it bled. Not good.

I'm still trying to figure out if I have MS or something else with similar symptoms but I have had the burning, the ice cold feelings, the squeezing feeling, countless cramps, and I'm on the 2nd bout of not being able to walk normally for 5 weeks in row this year with a 2 week break in between this time and the first time I couldn't walk well for 3 weeks. 1 neurologist, 2 orthopedists, a rheumotologist, and they can't find anything wrong. I'm so frustrated.

Mine is on my scalp. It’s been this way for 3 years. No Ms Dx but I had optic neuritis in Dec 2021. The scalp itching is so bad. If I step out into the sun, it makes it worse. I hate it. Such a horrible way to live.
